Making an innovation a force for good

The new ‘smart foam’ innovation in Sunlight handwash helps cut rinsing water by half – a big deal in rural areas where people still travel long distances to fetch water. And because South Africa was experiencing its worst drought in a century, helping save water became a way solve a national problem. More than 500 water tanks were distributed to deserving locations after the initial 80 thanks to its success.
